About the Event

Walk into the MW Gallery, and you will immediately feel the vibe. The artwork sets the agenda, and your senses follow. Maybe you are greeted by a visceral unexpected burst of joy, or the cool cloud of mellow covering the edge from the day’s irritations. Do not be surprised if your gaze drifts, and is captured by dark charcoal pressed on canvas, and your mind is suddenly stilled. In the program, GHA students will share their responses to the artwork. These young scholars unleashed their creativity, writing about the imagined themes connecting the art from the Mott-Warsh Collection to the “Black Dandelion” poem.
