SOLHOT is the widely acclaimed, more than 20-year research, scholarship and practice of Dr. Ruth Nicole Brown addressing the complexities and layers of Black Girlhood. Dr. Gwendolyn Taylor, the visionary and inspiration for SOLHOT 60+, together with Dr. Brown are operationalizing a revolutionary, multifaceted perspective of intergenerational resilience for women of African American descent.


SOLHOT 60+ the dynamic assemblage of Lansing/Detroit, mostly Flint visual artists,

women over the age of 60, of African American descent have collectively made a wish
